Voice Memo

Making a voice memo

You can record your voice.

Press [HOME] or [home%20icon_RJ_USA_ENG.png] > [Voice Memo].

Start

Press [vm_rec%20icon_RJ_USA_ENG.png] on screen.

Pause

Press [M] on screen.

Stop

Press [Z] on screen during recording. The recorded file is saved to the voice memo list.

,Note
  • Navigation guidance will be muted while recording.
  • The latest recorded file is placed on the top of voice memo list.
  • When the storage space is full while recording, the voice memo ends after saved.

Playing a voice memo

You can play your recorded voice.

  1. Press [HOME] or [home%20icon_RJ_USA_ENG.png] > [Voice Memo].
  2. Press the recorded file from voice memo list.

Pause

Press [M] on screen.

Press [d] on screen to play it again.

Skip

You can play the previous or next file.

Position

Description

Screen
  • Press [C/V].
  • Pressing [C] after 3 seconds of playback time plays the current file from the beginning.

Head unit
  • Press [S SEEK/TRACK W].
  • Pressing [S SEEK] after 3 seconds of playback time plays the current file from the beginning.

Search

You can rewind/fast forward to a specific point of a file.

Press and hold [C/V] and then release at the point you want.

Head unit

Press and hold [S SEEK/TRACK W] and then release at the point you want.

Saving the voice memo to USB device

  1. Connect an USB device to the USB port.
  2. Press [Menu] > [Save to USB Device] on the voice memo screen.

  1. Select the voice memo to save and press.
  1. Press [Save] > [Yes].

Storage information

This feature is used to check the storage space information

Press [Menu] > [Storage Info] on the voice memo screen.

Deleting voice memo

  1. Press [Menu] > [Delete] on the voice memo screen.

  1. Select the voice memo to delete and press.
  1. Press [Delete] > [Yes].
