Playing DVD

Insert a disc into the disc slot, with the label facing up.

Playback will start automatically. In some cases, the disc menu might appear.

,Note

To play DVD while a different source is playing, press [HOME] or [] > [Media] > [DVD]. If a menu screen is displayed, select the desired option by using the controller. Video is not available while driving. (Because of traffic regulations, video is only available while the vehicle is stopped.)

Pause

You can pause the playing chapter.

Press [M] on screen.

Press [d] on screen to play it again.

Skip

You can play the previous or next chapter.

Position	Description
Screen	Press [C/V]. Pressing [C] after 3 seconds of playback time plays the current chapter from the beginning.
Head unit	Press [S SEEK/TRACK W]. Pressing [S SEEK] after 3 seconds of playback time plays the current chapter from the beginning.

Search

You can rewind/fast forward to a specific point of a chapter.

Position	Description
Screen	Press and hold [C/V] and then release at the point you want.
Head unit	Press and hold [S SEEK/TRACK W] and then release at the point you want.

Seek

You can play the chapter directly by searching for the desired chapter.

Turn "TUNE/FILE" to search for a desired chapter. If the desired chapter is displayed, press the "TUNE/FILE" to play the chapter.

Switching to menu screen or full screen

• Press the screen.
• Press [] on the playing screen.
• Press [Menu] > [Full Screen]
• Wait 5 seconds to display the Full screen on the menu screen.

Title menu/Disc menu

If the current title has a menu, the menu will appear on the screen.

1. Press [Menu].

2. Press [Title menu] or [Disc menu].
3. Select the desired item.
4. Press [OK].

Subtitle language

Choose from all available subtitle languages.

1. Press [Menu] > [Subtitle language].

2. Select the desired subtitle language.

The caption language may vary depending on the title of DVD.

Audio language

Choose from all available audio languages.

1. Press [Menu] > [Audio language].

2. Select the desired audio language.

The audio language may vary depending on the title of DVD.

Angle

Choose from all available camera angles.

1. Press [Menu] > [Angle].

2. Select the desired angle.

The angle may vary depending on the title of DVD.

DVD Settings

Set the default language.

1. Press [Menu] > [DVD Settings].

2. Press the desired item.

• [DVD subtitle language]: Select the desired subtitle language.
• [DVD audio language]: Select the desired audio language.
• [DVD menu language]: Select the desired menu language.

If there is no desired language, press [Other languages]. Input the DVD language code, then press []. Refer to “DVD language code” part.
